- All members and guests are expected to respect the authority of the Wynnewood Pool manager and staff members at ALL TIMES. Violation of any pool regulation(s) could result in suspension/revocation of individual or family membership.
- No person shall use the pool unless it is officially open and guards are on duty.
- Admission to the pool may be refused to any person having any skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, cold, nasal or ear discharge, or any communicable disease. Persons with excessive sunburn, open sores, or bandages of any kind may not be admitted.
- Running, rough play, and personal conduct endangering safety of self and others in any portion of this establishment is prohibited.
- Any member/guest using the diving board or swimming in deep water shall, at the lifeguard’s discretion, demonstrate their ability to swim adequately as determined by the manager.
- ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS IS PERMITTED ON POOL PROPERTY.
- No member may bring cooking equipment into the pool grounds. Charcoal grills are provided and they are the only cooking equipment allowed. *Charcoal only is to be used to cook in the grills.*
- Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted on the immediate pool deck. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to smoke on pool property.
- All refuse must be placed in containers provided for such purpose.
- Toilet trained children under age six may be taken in the pool by an adult during the Adult Swim.
- No snorkels, facemasks, fins or inner tubes will be permitted in the pool. During the Adult Swim periods, when parents may take in their children under 6, child sized floats and water toys will be allowed. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the manager for adults over 18 using exercise equipment in the pool from Monday through Friday only.
- No child under thirteen (13) years of age will be allowed to enter the pool grounds unless accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older). No members under the age of 18 are allowed to sign in guests.
- All first aid cases must be reported to the management, no matter how slight.
- A single GUEST will be permitted to use the pool only 10 times during the season. Guests will register in a guest book at the office. This rule does not apply to houseguests of members. Weekly houseguest passes will be available for their use or they may pay admission by the day. All other guests will pay admission each of the up to 10 times they visit the pool. Members must stay with their guests at all times and are responsible for the actions of their guests. No members under the age of 18 are allowed to sign in guests.
- MEMBERS will be allowed to take Guests to the pool. The NUMBER OF GUESTS WILL BE LIMITED TO SIX PERSONS PER VISIT PER MEMBERSHIP. If you want to have more than six guests, you must submit a special request to the Manager for approval of the date and time you wish to bring them. Members wishing to have parties at the pool must get approval from the pool manager at least 2 weeks prior to the party date. No parties are approved for Sundays or Holidays.
- Anyone listed on your application that does not qualify for membership will be cause for IMMEDIATE revocation of membership and no refund will be made.
- All members will be required to present their badge for admission to the pool. Badge lending is not allowed. Any member who loans their badge to another person to gain entrance to the pool will give cause for revoking the membership.
- No street clothes will be allowed in the swimming pool. Bathing suits only are allowed.
- NO DIAPERS, whatsoever, will be allowed in the main pool due to Maryland State health regulations. Only toilet trained children are allowed in the main pool. Lifeguards have been instructed to ask parents to remove children in diapers from the main pool. Only children wearing diapers that are specifically designed for swimming will be allowed in the baby pool.
- Any person using foul language will be automatically suspended for three days. Other inappropriate behavior/misconduct will be handled by the pool manager and punishment therefore will be at his/her discretion.
- HARDBALLS/SOFTBALLS, LACROSSE BALLS, TENNIS BALLS and GOLF BALLS are not allowed on the pool grounds. Wiffleball games, football and soccer must be contained to the back grassy area of the pool grounds. Ball playing is not allowed on the upper entrance area to the pool.
- No PERSONAL corn hole boards, ladder ball sets or tether ball games allowed on pool property.
- Ball playing is not allowed on the pool deck.
- No skateboards, scooters, electric or pedal cars are allowed to be ridden on pool property. Bikes must be walked to the bike rack and properly stored.
- When the pool is crowded enough that three guards are required to be in the lifeguard chairs, there will be no ball playing in the pool.
- Please remember that you must take special care to watch your children when they use the playground equipment. The responsibility for their care is yours because the Center cannot provide care for your children while they are playing on the equipment. We ask that you remain with them when they use the equipment in order to avoid accidents.
- For health and safety reasons, no large coolers (larger than a 6 pack size) will be allowed on the pool deck which includes the green benches and chairs.
- For health and safety reasons, personal chairs must be at least 8 feet from the pool edge.
DIVING REGULATIONS
- Only one person on the diving board at any time.
- Do not dive until the previous diver has reached the ladder.
- Dive only in a forward direction
- No more than one bounce is allowed on the board.
